Who We Are
Another Chance Animal Welfare League, Inc. is a 501c3, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of animals through leadership, education, adoption and rescue. We are a group of dedicated people that care about the plight of homeless and innocent animals and want to make a difference. Far too many animals are dying in our local shelters, so we have stepped up to help them. We have opened our ADOPTION CENTER AND THRIFT STORE, which we are very proud of... do stop in and check out the merchandise or visit us each Saturday from 10-1:00 for Pet adoptions! We accept quality donations for our Shop, which helps us raise money to help our animals. Donations can be dropped off any time Tues - Sat from 10-4.
Because our vision looks long into the future, we have completed our Strategic plan and are now actively seeking large gifts to help toward the purchase of land in which to build our NO KILL SANCTUARY... PLEASE HELP US HELP THE ANIMALS!!
Currently the animals in our care are housed in foster homes, but they will live at our sanctuary once we acquire it and at that point our foster homes will be used for only special needs animals.
The animals are depending on us and YOU... for help. Call our number if you are interested in helping by becoming a foster parent, donating, or volunteering or joining our development committee -- we want to hear from you. ************************************************************************************************************
OTHER WAYS TO HELP:
Become one of our Guardian Angels by joining our ABBY'S ANGEL PROGRAM. Our Angels send in a $25 donation once per month to help feed the foster animals, and ease the financial burden on our foster parents. This is a great way to help animals if you can't foster one yourself. The Angel funds are also used to help animals that come in that may need special medical care before they are adoptable.*************************************************************************************************************
LADDIE'S FUND:
An emergency fund to help us cover the costs associated with trauma or urgent care when we take in animals that are injured.*********************************************************************************************************
BEQUESTS/WILLS:
Leave Another Chance Animal Welfare League as beneficiary in your will and help animals long after you are gone....call us for more information about this wonderful and loving program.**************************************************************************************************************
FOSTER AN ANIMAL:
Foster parents take care of the animals in their home until the animal is placed into a permanent home. We help with food when needed, and pay all medical expenses...all you have to do is provide great care and TLC and love them as if they were your own!*****************************************************************************************************************************
